US-led attack on civilians in Jiri

Afganistan tension might grow because killing civilians will never help anyone and certainly needs to be checked due many life lost, regarding to some media reports last year 2.777 civilian death in 12 months. This just basic that everyone needs more training to make Afganistan more secure and safe and today US-led forces have shot and killed a cousin of Afghan President Hamid Karzai after an attack on his house in Kandahar province's Dand district in southern Afghanistan.

Regarding to media US Special Forces arrived in helicopter in Karz village and stormed the house of Haji Yar Mohammad Khan on Wednesday night. "Haji Yar Mohammad Khan was martyred in the operation,' said Governor Hamdullah Nazek. Nazek, however, declined to provide further details. He pointed out that further investigations are underway which dosent going to change anything because life lost increases almost everyday.

Ahmad Wali Karzai, the president's younger brother and head of Kandahar's provincial council, has also confirmed the killing. Meanwhile, people took to the streets in Kandahar, chanting anti-US slogans to protest another US-led attack on civilians in the village of Jiri.

Again media reported on Wednesday, German troops based in northern Afghanistan killed a civilian woman and injured another during an exchange of fire. "German troops patrolling Chahar Dara district opened fire on civilian houses yesterday afternoon," Sayedhkhili said. Civilian casualties in war-ravaged Afghanistan rose substantially during 2010, according to a new United Nations report.

British Guardian reported "Senior tribal leaders, including Karzai's powerful brother, Ahmed Wali Karzai, had gathered for the funeral in keeping with the Islamic tradition of burying the dead within 24 hours. Karzai's spokesman, Waheed Omar, said the president had ordered an immediate investigation by Afghan security forces."
