Group of Kurdish PKK supporters break in to Guardian offices in London today and Kurdish nationalists demanding greater coverage of Kurdish issues and creating a chaotic scene that briefly alarmed the Guardian staff in London. Regarding to many reports it was the second time this week that Kurdish supporters of the Kurdish Workers’ Party, or P.K.K knows as PKK which has been rocignized as terrorists group in Turkey by goverment.
Group have invaded the offices of a European news organization before for protest and on Wednesday, a group staged a protest in the German city of Cologne in the newsroom of the television broadcaster RTL, the daily Frankfurter Allgemeine reported.
The PKK, a militant separatist group seeking autonomy in the predominantly Kurdish southeast of Turkey, has been engaged in an armed struggle against the Turkish government since the early 1980s.
But word of The Guardian action spread quickly on Twitter and social networking sites in UK, where many of the paper’s journalists keep active accounts regarding to reports online. A Guardian business editor, Hilary Osborne, suspected she may have been inadvertently responsible for their entrance to building.
Regarding to media and social networking istes she said the others had apparently jumped over the barrier at the downstairs entrance. Guardian journalists posted photos and updated as the men read a statement from a staircase.
Kurdish protestor made their press release on the stair case at Guardian building. However conflict goes on in Turkey and no action has been taking regarding to protests in Guardian building yet and we havent seen any response or PR from local security forces in UK.
