Regarding to British newspaper Daily Mail on 31st March 2011 Campaigners for fathers' rights branded an official review into family law a 'sham' and a 'cover-up'. The importance of maintaining relationships with both parents should be underlined in legislation, but there should be no guarantee of equal access to children when a relationship founders, it said.

A report for the Government did say it was 'unfair' where parents who are continually refused contact with their children by their former partner have to pay maintenance. Courts should be able to order reductions or suspensions in payments where the resident parent is not abiding by an access agreement, it said. As the Daily Mail revealed same morning, the report also said grandparents should be included in agreements on the future of children following a divorce.

The Family Justice Review, led by former civil servant and businessman David Norgrove, concluded the state of the family courts was 'shocking' and that disputes take 'far too long' to resolve. Its report said children at the centre of custody disputes can wait more than a year for their future to be decided under the current legal system. The review said couples should be urged to seek mediation rather than face a divisive and costly courtroom battle.

However further more same time newspaper reported that twenty-five children have died and dozens more been seriously injured despite being known to social services, an Ofsted report reveals. Vulnerable youngsters are let down in ‘too many’ cases by professionals who fail to listen to the concerns of grandparents, neighbours and even fathers, it says. In four of the cases, grandparents reported concerns but this did not lead to effective action.

Local authorities and other agencies failed to learn lessons from the Baby P scandal, the report shows. He was found dead, aged 17 months, in a blood-splattered cot having suffered a broken back and fractured ribs in August 2007. Ofsted assessed 67 serious case reviews (SCRs) between April 1 and September 30 last year involving 93 children. Thirty-nine had died.

SCRs, carried out by safeguarding boards, are triggered after a death or serious injury, where abuse or neglect is suspected. They can come as much as two years after an incident. Of the 93 children, 70 were known to social services. Twenty-five of these died, including four who were subject to active child protection plans. Ofsted warned that too often the focus on the child was ‘lost’ as they were not seen by the professionals involved or not visited regularly enough. In some cases, the child was seen but not questioned and there was often an ‘over reliance’ on what the parents claimed.

Middle of EU kids gets effected more by County Courts and everyday more court allows CAFCASS to be involved in many cases which means basically 3 months a list kids will be out of family life and we do highly recommend that you read Bernandos report regarding to CAFCASS work because many unprofessional CAFCASS and Families Forward staff makes kids life more hell with reports and this report takes minumum of 12 weeks, its like a joke for the mothers, fathers and other families. Also more interesting is their slogan "Putting children first in family courts" yes they do because alist 3 months more stress everyone including kids get from CAFCASS with defoult mess.

British Family Law is only protects mothers and regardless about fathers, grandprants or kids and if you are already at County Courts regarding this kind of important issues you will already know and understand how CAFCASS or Families Forward can make everyones life hell with unprofessional reports and in most cases Judges will believe because they will be relaying on law books.

Children Need Both A Mother And A Father and CAFCASS, Families Forward needs to understand this important roles in kids life and never any good just saying or making a slogan that dosent much or prove anything.

Children who lived with both a mother and father figure had less behavioural problems than those who lived with just their mother. However, it is not possible to tell whether this is because the father figure is more involved or whether the mother is able to be a better parent if she has more support at home. Certainly CAFCASS and Families Forward needs to understand this kind of issues and provide better services and get out from the court rooms.
