British Airways plans to launch a new service to the Antalya Alanya region

British Airways plans to launch a new service to the Antalya region on April 10th. The introduction of new flights to Turkey is set to trigger huge interest amongst overseas property buyers. In addition, after its purchase of GB Airways, EasyJet will soon begin offering services to the south coast of Turkey.

A new airport is also being developed in the Gazipasa region, which is likely to help encourage British investors to consider Turkey as a viable market. There has been no confirmation what routes will go to and from the facility, but the introduction of flights will definitely encourage further interest in the region and other surrounding areas.

Alanya, A large popular resort Alanya, lies at one end of a rocky promontory which juts into the Mediterranean. It boasts one of the impressive 13th C fortresses of Selijuk. The city's walls are punctuated by 150 medieval towers. Alanya is a beautiful holiday centre with modern hotels and many fish restaurants, cafes and bars. With great night life, Alanya also has the added advantage of being close to the all year round airport at Antalya.

If you come to Antalya in March and April, you can ski in the mornings and in the afternoons swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean. Important historical sites and beautiful mosques await your discovery, amid a landscape of pine forests, olive and citrus groves and palm, avocado and banana plantations.
