A late goal from Niklas Moisander saw Finland complete the double over Wales in this World Cup qualifier. The full-back cut inside James Collins to poke the ball beyond Wayne Hennessey in the Welsh goal (77). The hosts had taken the lead when Hennessey parried Jonatan Johansson's shot and Roni Porokara tapped in (5) before David Vaughan's cross saw Craig Bellamy equaliser (17).

Toshack unhappy with goals Wales boss John Toshack blasted the "sloppy" goals his side conceded in the 2-1 qualifying defeat by Finland. Roni Porokara followed up a parried shot and Niklas Moisander cut inside James Collins to cancel out Craig Bellamy's leveller in Helsinki. Toshack said: "We wanted to finish in third spot and that is now beyond us. We conceded two very sloppy goals with mistakes from experienced defenders."
