Didim Today

With temperatures already hitting 25 degrees it seems to become a hot summer for Altinkum Didim this year. it’s only mid May and already it’s this hot for this time of the year. Over the past decade the frequency of unusually high temperatures as early as May have increased. According to the Met Office’s summer forecast it will be hotter than average weather in Mediterranean regions. Altinkum Didim can look forward to warm days for the rest of the summer 2008 with above average temperatures. Didim Altinkum beach is the best place to be when its getting to hot you this summer

We do have some hot weather advice for you and you will need to know all this for high tempatures. Altinkum weather will get more warm soon.

You can follow some simple guidelines to stay fit and well during a long warm weather in Altinkum Didim and Akbuk ;

Stay out of the sun , keep your home as cool as possible shutting windows during the day may help, open your windows at night - when it is cooler ,keep drinking fluids, keep alcohol consumption to a minimum - it dehydrates the body , avoid heavy and hot food; modify your diet to include plenty of fruit and salad as this helps keep you hydrated, use a high factor sun cream, wear light, loose fitting clothing, such as cotton, so sweat can evaporate, if you feel sick or dizzy, keep out of the sun and seek medical advice,

You must also take care of pets during warm weather. Make sure they have plenty of ventilation and liquid to stay hydrated.  It's also worth remembering that the sun is at its highest between 11 am and 3 pm. It is important to make sure you and those you care for are suitably hydrated. Dehydration can cause significant health problems and lead to death in extreme cases.

Young children and the elderly are most at risk. They may be unaware of becoming overheated and not drinking enough liquids to remain hydrated.. Altinkum weather can be very dangeorus sometimes and you will need to be carefull while you are taking sunshine on the beach. 11/05/08
