Didim Today

With the onset of the summer season in Altinkum Didim, we are proud to announce the blessing of Mr and Mrs Jon Elder in Altinkum on Tuesday 17th May 2011 organised by Altinkum Weddings. This was the first blessing held in the area this year. We are pleased to say the blessing went extremely well, the weather was superb and the bride looked stunning.

The blessing was held in an Altinkum restaurant, the couple had the blessing in the garden area overlooking the sea and the couple were married by our resident blessing official.

The ceremony was very intimate and there was a few tears shed, they then all enjoyed a lovely meal with a meze feel to it in the restaurant after the ceremony.

The couple themselves said; “The table and setting, decorations, and the Mediterranean sea behind were beautiful. After the ceremony, the foods and celebrations were great.”

“I enjoyed the traditional Turkish pre-wedding Hammam massage in Altinkum the day before. They treated me in a typical manner but I felt great after !!!” (Groom) And the comments from some of their guests were “It was lovely. The food and settings. Perfect.”

The Altinkum Beach Wedding Manager said; “The couple choose a fantastic location, with stunning views and decor, I attended the blessing personally and felt it was a huge success, the couple were very relaxed and in love and the day seemed to be enjoyed be all.”

The wedding planner commented; “I am glad the day went well and more importantly that it was the blessing the couple have been hoping for and dreaming of, I am just glad that all the hard work and effort that was put in paid off on the day and would like to wish the couple all the best for the future, Thanks for being such great customers.”

The couple came from the England especially to have their dream blessing with Altinkum weddings.
