Off road adventure nearly turned into an off life disaster when a British tourist speeding between Kaya Koy and Hisaronu with an ATV and lost control over a turn and opened his eyes at the Fethiye Hospital. ATV or basically any kind of open and small, motorized buggies that are made generally for off-road riding.
These off-road vehicles are very dangeorus, the same way cars and other motors. Far too often these accidents involving ATV`s come about due to improperly using the vehicle or ignorance about the vehicle.
20 year old British tourist J. Hides who were peeding on the Kayakoy road with an ATV he had rented from Ovacik slipped off the shoulder of the road when he lost the vehicle`scontrol a result excessive speed.
The British tourist being badly injured in the accident was taken to the State Hospital with a 122 emergency service ambulance for his treatment. On the other hand, authorities state that proper protective gear should always worn to ensure your safety.
Remember to always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing. Never ride on paved surfaces or puplic roads. Never carry passenger unless ATV specifically engineered to accomidate them.
