Turkish protester was on the Taksim Square again for internet bans. Over 2,000 protesters marched in Turkey's largest city Istanbul against strict internet censorship in the country. The protesters were demanding that a law preventing access to over 5,000 internet sites banned in Turkey be repealed. Big internet protesters meet in Taksim Suqare and walked to the Istiklal Caddesi in Istanbul yesterday.

They chanted slogans Saturday for removing the ban on video-sharing website YouTube and against the transportation minister, whose ministry is responsible for website bans. "Don't touch the internet, pull away your hand," the protesters shouted.

However we all know that some of the sites has been recieving many complaints all over the World and just needs little more security attention this days and not just in Turkey.

The protest was organised by the Common Platform Against Internet Censorship, a platform of over 50 non-governmental organisations. There was always dissatisfaction with internet censorship, but this was the first time people poured out into the Istanbul streets, however many of the protesters was a student from university.

There are about 30 million internet users in Turkey, which has a total population of 70 million. Also internet users has been increasing rapidly in Turkey over the past years and we just love our internet.

More safety and security would not harm anyone, will make it more safe and better for all users all over the World. Protester also want many sites to back online again which has been closed by govermnet acts over the past years.
