Our Altinkum holidays was perfect and we enjoyed alot this time in Turkey. We stayed at the XXXXXX Hotel in Altinkum in August 09. The hotel is right on the beach, which, by the way, is very clean. The pool area is very nice with free sunbeds but it can soon become crowded especially if there are any children about.
The XXXXX hotel itself is nothing special, the staff are efficient and very friendly but not that polite, and the room furnishings are fairly basic but was okey for our family holiday because we was want just basics.
They also have a double room pricing system so if you don't want a room overlooking the rubbish bins, scrubland, telegraph poles with transformers on them six feet away from your balcony (which is only about two feet wide) you will have to pay a supplement(check with your tour operator before you book).
If you dont want to pay more for your holidays in Altinkum l would say always check with your holiday tour operator because sometimes they would charge you extra for air conditions, fans and safe boxes.
Back to home now in Scotland and cant wait to go back again next year, we had a wonderfull times in Altinkum and enjoyed on the beach alot. Boat trip was a bingo for us.
