Didim Jandarma have arrested 25 people yesterday and brothels, madame in a operation called "Hot Shower" 15 of them believe to be helping the prostitutes to find costumers in Altinkum and Didim. 10 of prostitutes including the brothels foreigners and the rest off others was Turkish. The operation went on all simultaniously in different locations and to hotels at Camlik Street (Mahallesi), Efeler Street, in Altinkum and Didim.
Whilst the investigation continues as to whether they are in country legally or not. This operation started after Aydin Il Jandarma ( Regional Jandarma Office) recived several complaints from residents about sex trafficking in Altinkum and Didim.
Locals said Jandarma and Police would be continuning their investigation into sex trafficking in Altinkum Didim over the next few weeks.
Also the main worring about prostitutes health. Because locals and Jandarma believes that they have been in Altinkum and Didim long time with their madame, and hidden in different locations and the hotels.
With operations 5 hotels should recive warning from local Jandarma and Police
