First, I am sorry to hear that your husband is being deported. Second, he is certainly able to invite a public notary to the prison and grant you power of attorney to sell the car. In such a case, a detailed power of attorney document should solve all problems.

However, if the car was used in any kind of crime or if there are any liens on it, then transferring ownership may be impossible. In such a case, you should first lift the lien or arrest order on the car, and then you will be able to use or sell the car.

Letters of protest

Dear Jenny, you should check if your contract has a clause stating that the addresses of the parties are suitable addresses for notification or if the address of the person in target is the registered residence. In any case, if you cannot notify the person on valid grounds, simply send him a payment order and a request for evacuating the premises. If he does not contest it, then you can easily get your property back.

Residence permit

Another question was about places of work: "Hello there sir. I appreciate your kindly help in some information. My concern is, is it possible if I rent a store and open up for example a restaurant or a grocery store or rent a gas station etc... you know to get residency in Turkey as I have a tourist visa currently, and it is not a must to buy the store to get the residency, correct?? Dear Moe, no, it is not true that you have to buy the property of a workplace in order to get a residence permit. I would say that this would make things easier, but it would not guarantee the success of your residence permit application. You should simply apply through the normal residence permit application process, and it should be purely a business decision whether to buy the store or not.
