The man named as E.T was on vacation from Denizli, and was spending his afternoon at beach, when he went into the sea to cool down, the got into diffuculity after swept into sea and died at the local hospital.

On August 17th a fire swept through Seyran Tepe due to unknown causes and caused damage to a full 30 hecters of farm land at Akbuk area which is on the Bodrum Airport Highways. The fire brigade from Milas and round areas battled with the fire and eventually got it under control but were unable to save the farm land.
