| 23 immigrant catch by Gendarma yesterday and all they was from Palestian, Somali, and other contries round Turkey. They was want to sneak to the Greek island but they dreams end up in Didim. Mavisehir and Didim Gendarma was on alert over the few months of this situation. All the immigrant was taking to the local Gendarma office for further questining. Tens of thousands of people from Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East sneak into to European Union member countries each year. Turkey is the last and final country before they get in to Europe. |

| One man was injured and another is critically ill in hospital after a head on collision on the Akbuk Didim Altinkum Road in the village of Denizkoy. The driver of Silver Volswagen Passat was swerving to avoid a holes in the road when he crashed head on in to a Renault Toros coming in the opposite direction. |

| On Monday 17th September a local man was shot dead at 14.50 in afternoon opposite Carrfour Supermarket. The victim M.A was 30 years old and worked for a construction company in Didim Altinkum. All was quiet on a usual Monday afternoon when the suspect K.K fired six shots at M.A and killing him instantly on street. |

| A local couple in Didim are anxious about the where abouts of their missing dog Goldie. Hasan Acar and Lynda Acar-Landlines bought the cocker spaniel 3 months ago in Marmaris whilst on holidaying there. The dog has been micro chipped and has update vaccinations, and is descirebed as being very frendly. |

| On the 6th August a British tourist reported to Didim Police an incident where a bag belonging to the tourist had been stolen from the bar they were drinking and dancing in. Police moved quickly and the suspect along with the stolen bag was sized 100 metres away from where the incident occured. |

| Didim is cracking down on drug dealing. The local police are all on alert in order to stop the drugs problem in Altinkum Didim. After police operated three raids in the space of a week 16 arrest were made, 12 were later released and the other 4 are awating sentencing. After the court hearing raids were made at Altinkum Camlik Street and police recovered large amount of various drugs and fire arms. |
