The driver of the Silver Volswagen Passat is belived to be a holiday maker from Mugla and is currently in Didim Hospital in critical condition. The other driver a local business man from Akbuk, medical attention given by Local Jandarma at scene of the accident in Denizkoy.

The road was closed by Local Jandarma for a hour while the scene was examined by traffic experts.
This is the same road which claimed 5 deaths in one year as locals are still waiting for the council to make it safe as it is deamand very dangerous due to the amount of large holes in the road.
About Akbuk Turkey
Along the waters edge against a beautiful mountainous backdrop you will find the town of Akbuk.Which was a small fishing village. Here you can choose a spot along the water to sit back and take in the breathtaking scenary, the water is clear and the weather hot as you dine on the waters edge.Akbuk is 20 km outside the Altinkum resort. There is daily buses make easy to access to Akbuk.
Akbuk has a small centre with just a few local shops however it is also the home to the holiday resort hotel which boasts a number of facilities such as a sauna, fully equipped gym, outdoor pool, tennis courts and its own selection of hotel shops. However this not mean Akbuk has nothing to offer. Akbuk has alot of clean small bays and beaches , which are covered with olive oil trees. Akbuk is very safe resort for all families. Akbuk climate is warm, however been in the bay is refreshing to cool you down. Akbuk is been visited mainly in the summer time by daily yacht tours.
Across the bay of Abuk peeping out of the mountain you will see the village of Denizkoy which I am particulary fond of as it is my home town. Denizkoy is a typical traditional turkish village where you will catch the smell of fresh home made bread and see the occasional tractor going about its daily business. The view from the village is one of green mountains and clear blue sea stretching out as far as the eye can see.
