Peter Andre famously broke down on Sky News when News Presenter Kay Burley interviewed the singer and probed him about Katie Price new husband. At the time Peter Andre fans demanded the sacking of Kay Burley and over 900 people complained about the interview, claiming that Peter Andre was being bullied. On the famous interview a clip was played where Dwight Yorke the father of Katie Price first child Harvey criticised Peter over his wish to adopt his son.

Peter looked shocked at the clip and according to sources, which has been denied by SKY TV; Peter Andre was unaware that a clip of his ex wife former boyfriend was going to be played. After the clip was played Kay Burley asked Peter how he would feel if his ex wife new husband Alex Reid wanted to adopt his children which left the singer in tears and distressed.

The incident with Peter Andre and Kay Burley left fans of the singer demanding the presenter of the show should be sacked with some fans even setting up web pages and forums calling for the sacking of Kay Burley.

However Ofcom have shocked fans by claiming Peter was not bullied but have agreed that the presenter was persistent and probing but have refused to take any action after the regulator claimed Sky News had not broken any rules.

The watchdog have said “Therefore the subject of his family and his marriage breakdown has been previously brought to public attention on several occasions and it would not in Ofcom’s opinion have exceeded viewer expectations for questions on these subjects to be put to him in the context of a programme with a populist news agenda.

“In the context of a news programme which focuses on the human interest angle the broadcaster applied generally accepted standards to the interview with Peter Andre.” Peter Andre and his management have not made any comment about the results of the investigation.
