Jordan/Katie Price’s better half has won Celebrity Big Brother. I personally have no time for the show but at least arrogant ‘the thug’ Vinnie Jones didn’t win the pointless competition. It never ceases to amaze me how seriously the public and press takes a show where you get to watch a group of individuals live in a house doing nothing important.

Anyway, Alex beat Dane Bowers (This time not physically) who came second in the competition to find Britain’s favourite unimportant celeb.

Now I usually find nothing endearing about the whole farce that Channel 4 has inflicted on us for the past ten years but I found Alex Reid’s commitment to Katie Price quite commendable and no matter what anyone said to him in the Big Brother house he remained fastidious in his loyalty.

For a tough guy he also kept his composure when criticisms against his beloved were weighed by individuals with even less moral fibre than Katie Price so all in all a jolly good show by the rather ambiguous star Mr Reid.

Stephen Baldwin hit the nail on the head when he compared Alex to a ‘tossed salad’ because the fact of the matter is Alex Reid does have potential in many different areas.

Even though he may face a barrage of jokes for his little prayer with Stephen I say well done for having the guts to act in faith and turn away just for a moment from the ridiculous meaninglessness of being stuck in a reality television show.

I think Alex really may have had a little help from above as a reward for his acting in faith.

No joke……well done Alex but I am glad to see the back of the show, the rot has had its day so lets get back to real progress and get our media back to promoting the arts in this country and, just in case you are in any doubt, the X-factor and all other tripe talent shows do NOT fall into the category of ‘The Arts’.
