TAMWORTH singing sensation Treyc Cohen has not made it through the live stages of X Factor after losing out on a place in the top 12 last week. Stonydelph resident Treyc beat thousands of other hopefuls to make it to the judges' homes, where the contestants were cut to just three per judge.
The 24-year-old, a member of the nine-piece folk/soul/rock band Monday Session, who is currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Popular Music at Wolverhampton University, wowed judges with her rendition of Chaka Kahn's I'm Every Woman. But her stunning vocals on Saturday night weren't enough. Treyc will be performing with her Monday Session band mates on October 21 at the Yardbird, Birmingham.
