Lady Gaga has openly admitted to have been sexually involved with both men and women in the past, though she has never fallen in love with a woman. And it looks as though it will stay that way, in the past…or at least for a little while. While at her new MAC Viva Glam event, which is to help raise money for AIDS charities, in London on Monday, Gaga told reporters that she’s single and just doesn’t have time to get to know anyone while she’s on the road (she’s been on her Monster Ball Tour).

Even she can be celibate, she continued, saying that no one has to have sex to be loved. Gaga believes that celibacy is a good thing and is encouraging her fans to practice it too. She tells them that if they can’t get to know someone, they shouldn’t be having sex with them.

In this day and age everyone has grown up and knows they can’t be that free with their love, she added. So to keep from being lonely, Gaga gets strength from her fans (aka her roommates). She says that when she sees her beautiful fans, she feels how much they protect and mean to her.

It wouldn’t be responsible if she didn’t protect and teach them to love themselves and be self-expressive. This encouraging little talk didn’t stop the Pop Diva from giving her opinions about what should go on in the bedroom though. She says that sex should be fun, colorful and beautiful.

Women get a little cheated though, she added, because they’re the receivers who can’t talk or sing about sex.
