Susan Boyle's debut album has achieved the highest first-day sales of the year, the Official Charts Company has revealed. In addition, 'I Dreamed A Dream' outsold the remainder of the top five artists combined, after selling more than 130,000 copies on Monday.

It is on track to topple the highest first-week sales of 375,872 for a debut album which was set by another Simon Cowell find, Leona Lewis, two years ago. Britain's Got Talent runner-up Boyle said she had "finally achieved" her dream of releasing her own album.

Supanet reported that She said: "There is happiness out there for everyone who dares to dream." The album also looks set to become the fastest-selling album of the year. JLS currently hold that claim after their eponymous debut album sold more than 230,000 copies in it first week earlier this month.

However Susan Boyle has been more popular than JLS and its hard to believe what she has been archived. Even JLS didnt make this much after trying hard but Susan Boyle did. Susan Boyle made highest first day sale of the year.

Boyle found instant international fame when she appeared on the ITV1's Britain's Got Talent, after which millions spread the word online. Her debut single, a cover of 1971 Rolling Stones rock ballad 'Wild Horses', is expected to chart highly in the top 10 on Sunday.
