Little MixGirl group Little Mix have triumphed in this year's The X Factor, beating Marcus Collins in the live final at Wembley Arena. The foursome, who were put together from the solo entrants at the audition stage, have become the first group ever to win the ITV1 talent show.

ShakiraColombian sexy and pretty pop star Shakira will be awarded Artist of the Year by the Harvard Foundation in recognition of her contributions to music and her social work in countries around the world. The renowned singer, songwriter, and philanthropist from the port city of Barranquilla will receive what foundation calls its most prestigious medal on February 26 at the Cultural Rhythms festival, which will be held on the grounds of the influential American university.

George MichaelGeorge Michael was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive, after losing control of his Range Rover and crashing into a North London shop. The 47-year-old star was returning from Gay Pride when he lost control of his car and hit a Snappy Snaps store in Hampstead. Michael later pleaded guilty to the charges.
