British artist Elton John rocked Istanbul in Turkey and 6 time Grammy Award winning famous British artist Sir Elton John is coming to Turkey as part of his world tour. Sir Elton John is an English singer, composer and pianist. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin as his songwriter partner since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums to date. John received a knighthood from HM Queen Elizabeth II for "services to music and charitable services" and became Sir Elton Hercules John, CBE in 1998.

Turkish participant for Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Dusseldorf has been announced by Turkish National TRT and Yüksek Sadakat, revealed their entry for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in a live show  with Live It Up. The Turkish entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest was presented today during a press conference organized by the country's national broadcaster TRT.

Colombian sexy and pretty pop star Shakira will be awarded Artist of the Year by the Harvard Foundation in recognition of her contributions to music and her social work in countries around the world. The renowned singer, songwriter, and philanthropist from the port city of Barranquilla will receive what foundation calls its most prestigious medal on February 26 at the Cultural Rhythms festival, which will be held on the grounds of the influential American university.

George Michael was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive, after losing control of his Range Rover and crashing into a North London shop. The 47-year-old star was returning from Gay Pride when he lost control of his car and hit a Snappy Snaps store in Hampstead. Michael later pleaded guilty to the charges.
