The Twilight movie franchise will have a few surprises in store for their fans. Those who have read Stephenie Meyer's vampire-infested books will know how the plot goes and who will Bella really choose. That said, those who are fond of the werewolf character Jacob Black are in for a treat in this movie.
In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer's extraordinarily successful Twilight series, the romance between mortal and vampire ascends to a new level as Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart probes deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world as she longs to become a part of it only to find herself in major trouble than ever before. Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson and his family of vampires abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an attempt to shield her from the dangers inborn in their world.
As the despairing Bella blindly walks through her senior year of high school, unfeeling and alone, she realizes Edward's image always comes to her each time she puts herself in danger. Her yearning to be with him at any cost finds her taking greater risks. Taylor Lautner plays Jacob Black, her childhood friend who decided to help Bella in her quest. Bella restores an old motorbike as a reliable means of transportation.
Bella's cold heart is increasingly melted by her burgeoning relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe and is a werewolf in reality. In a race against time, Bella discovers the secret of the Quileutes and Edward's true impulse for leaving her. Directed by Chris Weitz, this movie is one exciting piece that is not to be missed.
The film also features the original cast as well as new ones which include Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Dakota Fanning, Edi Gathegi, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon, Billy Burke, Chaske Spencer, Rachelle Lefevre, Michael Sheen, Christopher Heyerdahl, Charlie Bewley, Daniel Cudmore, and Graham Greene.
