Milas-Bodrum Airport is an international airport that serves the Turkish towns of Bodrum and Milas. The airport is situated 36km northeast of the town of Bodrum, and 16km south of Milas. A spacious new international terminal was completed in 2000. The old terminal, now reserved for domestic flights, is 1km away, a 15-minute walk across a grassy field.

Altinkum isn't just about lazing in the sunshine, as there is plenty to do during both the day and evening. Even if history was never your thing at school you can't ignore the ancient world when you stay here as Altinkum is close to many fascinating ancient sites where you can almost feel the past.

Altinkum has a cash machine point right end of the Dolphin Square and you will be able to take money, use your credit debit cards. All the banks are right located in town centre, you can get a dolmus bus front of the Altinkum Shopping Centre and you will see them right side of the main road as you go to uptown. Which is called Didim.

Altinkum is a small resort on the Aegean coast of Turkey. It can be easily accessed via Bodrum airport within an hour or Izmir airport within an hour and a half. Some locals will refer to the area by its older name Didim, as Altinkum is just a small part of the resort.
