Now its official, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 is the country Germany with the song Satellite from Lena! It took some hours to hear all 25 songs of all 25 different countrys, but only one can win at the end. The favourites this year was besides Safura with the Song Drip Drop from Azerbaijan, Lena with the song Satellite from Germany and Hera Björk with the song Je ne sais quoi from Iceland!
Since 21:00 (GMT+1) all 25 artists fight for the title as the winner of the Eurovision Song contest 2010. This year there was one accident, during the song from spain a man came to the stage and disturbed the performance. After the song of Serbia the moderator announced that Spain will get a second chance and can present their song again at the end of the contest after Denmark.
And there is even one new thing at the contest. Only a few years ago it was introduced that each country needs to assemble a jury. The jury vote will be mixed with the results of the telephone voting of the country – this should reduce that people will vote for other countrys depending on a friendship between countrys and bring the musical aspect of the show more in the foreground.
The novelty this year refers to the phone voting, this year everyone can start to vote at the begin of the show.
