Akbuk Turkey
Akbuk is a smaller quiet resort just round the coastline from Altinkum. It is well known for the fish farms supplying the local restaurants. It is situated around a bay with olive grooves. Akbuk became a township in 1991 and is developing according to plan; future developments include a golf course and a direct road leading to Bodrum airport.
Most of the infrastructure is now complete including new roads, clean beaches and pedestrian walkways. No major construction work is allowed between the months of May in Akbuk.
